and i have a post i really want to write about the fourth of july, but that will have to wait for now. it is pretty amusing. at least i think so. perceptions about America are just so interesting - and i'd love to hear yours soon. but, do, do enjoy the poetry below. it's nice.

hey Jana, thought i would put my comment on this entry to keep alive your streak of consecutive blog entries with a comment attached....props on that btw ("btw" is a common abbreviation used in internet slang for "by the way"). someday that joke will get old to me, i promise. anyway, unfortunately the first third of my life has been relatively void of much exposure to poetry. perhaps "the world is too much with" me, and i have been "out of tune" (had to memorize that Wordsworth poem for a class). but this Frost poem is excellent! i nearly got up to put a sweater on after reading it. thanks for sharing.
also, an admission. i had to reach for my dictionary for one of the words in that post. if you can so effectively use the word "bane" in a blog entry, then you've got skills.
